Stephanie teaches classes at multiple Twin Cities YMCA locations, a senior facility & memory care unit, private lessons, and offers classes through various community and city organization and educational institutions.  She volunteer teaches at Pathways Minneapolis, Sea Others Foundation, Apple Valley, and Lakeville Park and Rec, and other special events.   Please see the opportunities page for more details at

Stephanie developed a passion for the mind/body movement in 2012.  Stephanie noticed a significant difference Tai Chi made in her personal health along with complementary medical care, western medical medicine, diet and lifestyle changes. She started learning more about Tai Chi and Qigong after practicing it for a few years and got certified to teach it.  She started teaching Tai Chi and Qigong in 2016 at the Twin Cities YMCA and started her own business for teaching, coaching and presenting Tai Chi in 2018.   Stephanie loves to bring in positive psychology into her classes and offers a free lending library of Tai Chi and Qigong DVD's and books.  What Stephanie loves about Tai Chi and Qigong is that it's much more than just a slow-moving exercise; it creates harmony and balance in the mind-body for self-healing.

More about Stephanie: At the age of 19, Stephanie finished her Bachelor of Science and at the age of 21, she got a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from St. Cloud State University. After graduating with lots of student loans, and with the friend’s encouragement, she decided to work in the Information Technology field to pay off her loans off faster and try something new.  She worked for IBM and a few other big IT companies for 15 years doing software support and administration, project management and training. Then Stephanie did IT self-employment for several years while Stephanie and her family sponsored and helped 27 new immigrants.  Stephanie wants to help more people and started a non-profit called, "Sea Others Foundation", (501c3) in 2014.   Sea Others Foundation specializes in outreach, education, and referrals to anyone in need of information, experiences, and resources to become successful.
